If you have any questions that aren't answered here, please don't hesitate to contact me! Do you have a semi-crazy idea for your photoshoot? LET'S TALK ABOUT IT! This page exists to help guide you through the most commonly asked questions I get before a photoshoot.
How do you take payment?
By contract, I require 30% of the photoshoot cost at the time of booking. When you sign your contract and send it back to me, your spot will be secured once I receive the 30% deposit. This can be done via bank transfer/beem (AUS) or venmo (USA). The remaining 70% must be sent to me at a minimum of 24 hours before our scheduled shoot.
I have no idea how to look good in photos!
Posing for photos can be super daunting! That is why I will instruct you the whole way through! Come dressed up in whatever makes you confident and we'll work together! Towards the end of the session, I will ask you if there any poses or photos I didn't take that you would like us to do. That will be your time to show me any inspo pics you have found on the internet that you might like to re-create!
What do I wear?
I have a style guide that I can send my clients after they book with me UPON REQUEST. Otherwise, you can send me photos of your options and I can help you pick!
How many photos will I get from our session?
Although this is uncommon in this industry, I truly believe that giving you any less than ALL of the best photos would be providing half of a service. I don't limit how many photos I give my clients from their session because, to put it simply, if it were ME, I would want all the good photos, not just the BEST ones. This is up to my discretion which means I wont send any photos that aren't up to par with the usual quality i provide (e.g. someone is blinking, the focus was off, I dont feel it represents my quality of work etc.) but thats where I ask you to put your trust in me to give you all the best ones!
How will I receive the photos and how long will it take?
I deliver my photos using pictime. This is an online gallery where you can download all of your photos on either mobile or desktop via a link that I send you.
It completely depends on what kind of photoshoot it is (weddings/individuals etc.) and whether it is a busy season or a little slower! I typically deliver photos anywhere between 2 days to 4 weeks after the shoot but I communicate with my clients the whole way through, as well as send sneak peaks!
What kind of gear do you use?
My main camera that I use is a Canon r6 and 35mm lens + a kit lens. This mirrorless camera has dual memory slots which means the likelihood of gear failure or your photos being lost is much less than a standard one slot camera! My second back up camera is a Canon 200d mark ii. I have 24-105mm f/4-7.1 for my r6, and a 50mm & 80mm for my 200d. I use lightroom and photoshop to edit all the photos!
